Hi, I’m Jim. I’m based in Dublin. I’ve been working in BBDO for the last 6 years and before that in Young Euro RSCG, Ogilvy & Mather and Arks Advertising. I’ve worked with many different brands in that time including Mitsubishi, Magners, Virgin and Coors, to name but a few. My working background is in design and predominantly retouching. Over the last few years, I’ve moved towards working with 3D, due to the type of work required in Shopper/POS. Traditionally, this work would have been comped together in 2D with Photoshop to try and achieve a 3D look. Not only is this time consuming, it’s very limiting as regards the different angle options/animations etc. Visually, the result is also poor in comparison to what can be achieved in 3D.
